XJ Group attends China-Nigeria Forum on Production Capacity and Investment Cooperation

On April 12, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China Development Bank and the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment of Nigeria held “China-Nigeria Forum on Production Capacity and Investment Cooperation” in Beijing. Wang Wujie, Chief Economist of XJ Group, was invited to attend the forum and communicate with relevant representatives.

This forum mainly promoted Nigeria’s investment environment, key areas, major projects and preferential policies. Enterprises of China and Nigeria had in-depth communications on the project cooperationin such fields as electric power, agriculture, highway, machinery manufacturing,and communications At the meeting, Nigeria's President Buhari attended the forum and delivered a speech, Xu Shaoshi, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission delivered a keynote speech, Qian Hongshan, the Assistant Foreign Minister, Zheng Zhijie, President of China Development Bank and Enelamah, the Minister of Nigerian Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment delivered speeches, respectively.

At the forum, Wang Wujie communicated XJ’s manufacturing capabilities and core technology in power industry with the relevant responsible persons of the Administrative Management Bureau and Asia-Pacific Business Department of China Development Bankand the Investment Department of China-Africa Development Fund. Also, he interacted with them about the recently promoted projects, including Nigerian power transmission and substation, new energy power generation and equipment manufacturing. China Development Bank and the Investment Department of China-Africa Development Fund recognized XJ’s manufacturing capabilities and technology advantages, encouraged XJ to speed up the “Go global” pace, and expressed the willingness to strongly support and cooperate with XJ in its production capacity and capital operations.
